This site is dedicated to all shows that Mutant Enemy produces. Currently those shows are Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, and the defunct Firefly. Our indivindual pages include some other shows like Stargate SG1 and Farscape.
In March 1997 BTVS premiered on The WB. It quickly became a critical and ratings success for the fledgling WB network. In 1999 it spawned a spin-off called Angel. In 2001 The WB and FOX (which produces Buffy) couldn't come to a licensing agreement and the show was cancelled. UPN picked up the show and signed a 2 year deal to keep the show alive. In the spring of 2002 FOX approached ME about makeing a new show. The show was a space/western called Firefly. After dismal ratings due to lack of network support the show was cancelled after just 13 episodes in the winter of 2002. Buffy aired it final episode on Tuesday May 20, 2003.
